Saturday! Everyone had a great sleep in before a big brunch of eggs and toast and more jams than we knew what to do with. We piled into Emma and Graeme's 7 seater Mazda 5 and headed for the beach.
Just over the horizon we could see the stumps of a row of wind turbines which are being installed off the coast. We've seen similar wind farms off the coast near Ravenglass and Great Yarmouth. Britain seems much more ready to adopt renewable energy than many Australians.
After much stone skimming and beach combing we headed into a nearby wood where trees were climbed, tipis contructed and dogs befriended.
The weather had been bright all morning, but now grey clouds started to roll in as we headed for the Worthing Pier to play on the 2p slot machines, which are strangely soothing to watch.
We finished up at the art deco restaurant on the end of the pier for tea, coffee and cake.
Great blog - love the pictures with excellent narrative. Thanks for keeping us informed of your wonderful holiday.
