Swansea

Today we headed out to Swansea and the Gower Pennisula. The weather looked like it might fall apart in the afternoon, so we drove straight out to Tor Bay for a play on the beach.

Thomas and Robert made the obligatory sandcastle, which we then watched disappear as the tide ran in.

From Tor Bay we walked over the headland to look out over Three Cliffs Bay.

By this time it looked like we might be racing against the weather, so we drove along to Rhossilli to see the Worm's Head.

We had arranged to visit Anne Smallwood (Aunty-Anne-down-the-road) in Swansea. Anne took us to Dunvant park where Robert used to play as a boy. Thomas bought his football and found a friend to kick it about with him.

We had a lovely afternoon tea with Anne before heading back to Cardiff for Italian and bed.
